Paganism- The belief in many gods, similar to the term polytheism. Described to be all religions other than Christianity, Islam and Judaism.
Apotropaic-a type of magic intended to "turn away" harm or evil influences.
Votive Offerings- an object left in a sacred place for ritual purposes.
Cosmological views-the branch of philosophy dealing with the origin and creation of the universe.
Zoomorphic-The representation of gods as animals or the attributing of animal characteristics to gods.
